Eliza, a writer for travel magazines and websites, has returned to her small hometown. Despite her absence, her family still continues to participate in the same silly traditions such as wearing ugly Christmas sweaters, singing at the local care center, and baking cookies. Through these activities, Eliza is reunited with Will, a former heartthrob, who helps her rediscover the significance and beauty of these unique family traditions and her hometown.
